ARCO/Murray and Nuvo Development Deliver a New Class A Self Storage Facility in Mount Laurel, New Jersey

ARCO/Murray, a leading national design-build contractor specializing in self-storage development, has partnered with Nuvo Development to deliver a new 97,614 square foot class A self-storage facility in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. Operated by Extra Space Storage, the 3-story property offers 774 climate-controlled storage units.
Positioned just off Interstate 295, one of southern New Jersey’s primary commuter corridors, the development provides convenient access for both surrounding residential communities and nearby businesses, strengthening the area’s modern self-storage offerings.
Designed to elevate the traditional self-storage aesthetic, the building incorporates a striking exterior façade, combining Nichiha, metal panels, split-face masonry, and glass. The contemporary façade reflects the commitment of both Nuvo Development and ARCO/Murray to delivering architecturally distinctive buildings without compromising long-term performance or operational efficiency.
Built with a cold-formed metal framing system, the structure is engineered for durability and resistance against New Jersey’s demanding winters and changing seasonal conditions. ARCO/Murray provided structural engineering services through its trusted partner, ARCO Mechanical Engineering (AME), delivering a coordinated design-build approach from concept through completion.
This facility represents the latest project completion in a series of successful collaborations between ARCO/Murray and Nuvo Development. Tyler De Luna and Ben Graber proudly served as the Project Managers, along with site Superintendent Fred Truitt, who oversaw the day-to-day construction process.
