ARCO partners with Banner Real Estate Group to Complete New Self Storage Facility in Sylmar, California

ARCO, a national general contractor specializing in self-storage construction, has recently delivered another Class A facility on the West coast.

ARCO recently completed a 139,608-square-foot, multi-story self storage facility in Sylmar, California, for repeat client, Banner Real Estate Group, a fully integrated real estate company specializing in the acquisition, development, and management of multifamily and self storage assets nationwide.

Located in the San Fernando Valley submarket of Los Angeles, the state-of-the-art facility was designed to meet growing demand for modern, secure storage solutions in the region. The project includes approximately 1,155 square feet of office space and a total of 1,266 storage units across 11 different unit sizes, including 36 ADA-accessible units.

Constructed with a cold-formed metal framing system and a contemporary metal panel façade, the fully conditioned facility is designed for both durability and customer comfort. The building features interior conditioned loading docks, two elevators for efficient vertical access, and a solar array with capacity for future expansion, supporting long-term energy efficiency goals.

ARCO provided turnkey design-build services, streamlining delivery from preconstruction through completion while implementing essential utility upgrades to support efficient, long-term facility operations.
