Market Overview

ARCO/Murray works with operators, developers, and brands to deliver sports and entertainment environments including training facilities, entertainment venues, recreation centers, ice rinks, water parks and mixed-use destinations. Our experience spans ground-up construction, adaptive reuse, and tenant buildouts across a range of concept-driven formats.

These projects often require coordination of technology, food and beverage, and specialty vendors alongside the core building scope. We work with clients and partners to align layouts, infrastructure, and constructability with operational requirements, supporting efficient execution and scalable concepts.

With experience supporting prototype development and national rollout programs, our teams help streamline delivery and maintain consistency across locations.

Our Approach

Sports, aquatics, and entertainment projects are driven by concept execution, guest experience, and speed to market. Our Sports & Entertainment team acts as a true construction partner, utilizing engineering-led preconstruction to turn sports facilities, aquatic centers, water parks, and competitive social venues into buildable, financeable projects with early cost clarity and fewer surprises.

From the first test fit, we integrate planning, design, and construction to align the facility program with constructability, budget, and schedule. We work directly with operators, brand partners, aquatics engineers, technology and AV vendors, and food and beverage teams to coordinate layouts, utilities, pool and waterpark systems, back-of-house, and life safety so the building supports both the experience on day one and long-term operations.

For clients expanding across multiple locations, this approach supports prototype refinement, national rollout programs, and consistent delivery across markets. The result is a scalable, repeatable process that reduces complexity and brings new concepts to market faster.

“As we close out the process, I am sad to see them go. It has been a very rewarding time with the ARCO/Murray crew. When quality relationships can be made with those managing a project this large it makes the process so much easier on city employees like me. I would love to see them come back to town for a project, even if it is one of our own.”

“What sets ARCO/Murray apart from the competition is their constant willingness to drive value for the client. They are one of our most valued partners.”

“ARCO/Murray has been a pivotal part of this project since the beginning. Even with all of the complexities involved in a project like this: intricate pool systems, intense site work, high-end finishes, and a highly remote location, they still managed to deliver on the budget and schedule set 18 months ago.”
