Westside Village has announced Levee Porch and Tailwaters Fly Fishing Co., a new riverfront concept planned along the West Fork of the Trinity River in Fort Worth. Set within the 37-acre mixed-use development west of downtown, the project will combine a restaurant, beer garden, and fly-fishing retail experience, with opening expected in the first quarter of 2027.

Created by Chimy’s owner and operator Kyle Wright and Jason Finley, Levee Porch is designed as a casual stop along the river for food, drinks, and time outdoors. Plans call for an approximately 400 SF bar area, a 500 SF covered porch with a walk-up bar window, and a beer garden shaded by live oak trees below.

Adjacent to the restaurant, Tailwaters Fly Fishing Co. will occupy nearly 1,500 SF of retail space. Founded in Dallas in 2007, the company said the Fort Worth location will be its second store and a natural fit for the setting on the West Fork.

Together, the concepts are intended to create a gathering place tied to the river and trail experience. Future plans for the site include a dedicated kayak launch, and programming is expected to include fly-fishing film tours, casting competitions, and fun runs.

ARCO/Murray is serving as the general contractor on the project, with Line Design leading the conceptual architectural vision and RSDG serving as architect.
