ARCO/Murray partnered with Renard Management to deliver an impressive 150,930 square foot self-storage facility in North Bergen, New Jersey. Operated by SnapBox Storage, this 6-story, fully climate-controlled facility houses 1,154 self-storage units and features 800 square feet of office space.
Strategically located just across the Hudson River from New York City, the facility is surrounded by local businesses, large warehouses, and residential neighborhoods. Positioned just one block from a key intersection linking Interstate 95 and New Jersey State Highway 3, it offers exceptional accessibility for both commuters and local residents.
Designed for long term durability and efficiency, the structural steel building is supported by a 10×10 grid of rigid inclusions, reinforcing the soil’s bearing capacity and ensuring prolonged stability. The facility’s exterior features Snapbox’s signature blue colored metal panel facade paired with yellow display and exterior roll-up doors, creating a bold visual identity that strengthens brand recognition. The facility includes 23 exterior drive-up units along the rear perimeter and two exterior loading areas positioned along the east drive lane, optimizing customer convenience.
This project serves as the latest completion in an ongoing series of successful collaborations between ARCO/Murray and Renard Management. Chase Russell led the project as project manager, while site superintendent Steve Price oversaw the day-to-day construction operations to ensure seamless execution and a better construction experience, from start to finish.
