We are proud to celebrate Corie Foley, Vice President and leader of ARCO/Murray’s Milwaukee office, who was honored as one of the Milwaukee Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2025 on March 19 at the Miller High Life Theater in downtown Milwaukee. This prestigious recognition celebrates young professionals who are making significant contributions to their industries and communities in Southeast Wisconsin.
Driving Growth and Innovation at ARCO/Murray
Corie’s journey with ARCO/Murray has been marked by remarkable achievements. Reflecting on her career, Corie considers the establishment of the Milwaukee office as her most significant accomplishment:
“My biggest accomplishment is opening the ARCO/Murray Milwaukee office. It has been so rewarding to grow the Wisconsin team and establish us in the market, and this is just the beginning!”
Under her leadership, the Milwaukee team has expanded its presence, delivering exceptional projects and fostering strong client relationships throughout the region.
Championing Women in Operations
Beyond her role in business development, Corie is deeply committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace culture. She spearheaded the creation of ARCO’s Women of Operations Network, an internal support group designed to empower women in operational roles. Corie explained the motivation behind this initiative:
“The goal is to provide the access and support I wish I had starting out in the construction industry to those who are entering it now. Our group offers mentorship, networking and professional development opportunities for female project managers, superintendents and other operational roles within the company.”
This network has become instrumental in promoting diversity and inclusion within ARCO/Murray, offering resources and opportunities for women to thrive in the construction industry.
A Philosophy of Shared Success
Corie’s leadership philosophy centers on collaboration and mutual support. She believes that ambition should be embraced and that success is a collective endeavor:
“One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is that ambition should never be hidden — being driven is a strength, not something to downplay. I’ve never looked at success as a solo journey, and I love surrounding myself with a great team.”
She emphasizes the importance of lifting others as one climbs, fostering an environment where everyone can succeed together.
Community Engagement and Leadership
Corie extends her commitment to empowerment beyond the workplace. She is actively involved with Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build initiative, aligning her passion for empowering women with efforts to strengthen communities through homeownership. Corie humorously notes:
“Plus, it’s the one time people trust me on a jobsite with power tools in my hand!”
Her dedication to community service exemplifies her holistic approach to leadership and personal development.
Looking Ahead
Corie’s vision for the future involves continuous growth and fostering supportive networks. She advises aspiring professionals:
“The most important thing is to believe in yourself — because if you don’t, no one else will. External validation, while it feels great, only sticks if you see the same in yourself.”
At ARCO/Murray, we are inspired by Corie’s dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to empowering others. Her recognition as one of Milwaukee’s 40 Under 40 is a testament to her impactful contributions to our company and the broader community.
Congratulations, Corie, on this well-deserved honor!
