ARCO/Murray and Topgolf Break Ground on Wisconsin’s First Venue
ARCO/Murray, Topgolf, Galway Companies, Mayor Nancy Moore and Former Mayor Mary O’Connor kick off the groundbreaking ceremony
Monona, WI/Oct. 29, 2025 – ARCO/Murray joined Topgolf to celebrate the groundbreaking of Wisconsin’s first Topgolf venue in Monona, located eight miles east of Madison. The 37,000-square-foot, two-level entertainment destination sits on an 11.3-acre development and marks the 93rd Topgolf built by ARCO/Murray nationwide. The highly anticipated venue is set to open in the fall of 2026.

About the Venue
Located at 6400 Gisholt Drive, this Topgolf venue will feature:
- 72 Outdoor, Climate-Controlled Hitting Bays
- Surface Targets with Precision-Tracking Toptracer Technology
- A Full-Service Restaurant and Bar, Event Space, and Outdoor Patio for Gatherings and Celebrations
Topgolf offers a modern, tech-driven take on the traditional game, welcoming everyone from first-time players to seasoned golfers to enjoy the sport in a relaxed, social setting.
Once open, the Monona venue will create approximately 200 to 250 jobs for local “Playmakers,” the company’s term for its team members who help deliver the signature Topgolf experience.
