ARCO/Murray Completes New Self-Storage Facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado Showcasing Custom Painted Murals
ARCO/Murray partnered with Armstrong Capital Development to deliver a new three-story self-storage facility in Colorado.

ARCO/Murray partnered with Armstrong Capital Development (ACD) to deliver a 91,788 square foot new self-storage facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Designed with multiple custom murals on the building’s facade, the facility offers a unique appeal to the neighborhood. The 3-story facility is operated by BriteLock Self-Storage, and houses 726 self-storage units.
Constructed using light gauge framing members, the facility includes an exterior loading dock and a dedicated loading area on the building’s east side, to further ensure enhanced convenience for future tenants. The building’s façade includes a combination of metal panels, EIFS, and split-face masonry, delivering both durability and a visually appealing design that complements the custom murals.
Located just a few blocks from downtown Colorado Springs, the facility is poised to serve as a valuable amenity to the community. In collaboration with a local artist, the tribute murals have been designed and placed on the building’s front, commemorating the surrounding Mill Street neighborhood. Positioned adjacent to I-25, a major interstate arterial highway, the facility offers exceptional accessibility for customers.
This project marks the second successful collaboration between ARCO/Murray and Armstrong Capital Development, with more developments in the pipeline. ACD is a Denver-based private development company with a focus on commercial real estate across the Midwest region.
