Last month, ARCO/Murray hosted a site tour for a partner brokerage group at the DFW West Logistics Park jobsite. Located on 88 acres just west of DFW Airport, the initial phase of the 1 million square foot development includes a 200,000+ square foot rear-load warehouse on 16 acres, featuring 37 dock positions, two drive-in ramps, 119 auto parking spaces, and 49 trailer parking stalls.
ARCO/Murray coordinated the industrial park’s site and phasing plans, along with its building and civil design, and is currently overseeing construction for the expansive 1,143,400+ square foot project. As the single point of contact for the entire project scope, our Project Manager, Director of Operations, and Superintendent possess a comprehensive understanding not only of what we are building, but also the reasoning behind each design decision.
Recent project developments include the completion of retaining walls, belled pier foundations and slab-on-grade concrete pours – forming and rebar placement was underway in preparation for the upcoming panel pour. The ARCO/Murray project team provided the brokers with insights into geotechnical and foundation considerations, discussed specific design elements to consider when touring industrial spaces, and answered questions about the logistics and costs associated with the various options available for plan-and-spec industrial buildings.
DFW West Logistics Park was recently featured on the 2024 NTCAR Industrial Bus Tour. If you’re interested in arranging a tour of one of our active projects, please use the form below to reach out.
