Tetra Pak Renovates Denton Office with European-Influenced Design and Modern Workplace Strategy
ARCO/Murray recently completed a 5,250 SF office renovation for Tetra Pak in Denton, Texas. The project reimagined the workplace to better support collaboration, focus, and long-term operational efficiency for the global food processing and packaging equipment manufacturer.
The renovation centers on a more open and intentional workplace layout. The primary office area was opened to maximize efficiency and visibility, while huddle rooms, focus rooms, conference rooms, and private offices were positioned along the perimeter. This strategy allows natural light to extend throughout the space while maintaining access to private meeting environments when needed. A centrally located breakroom anchors the floorplan and serves as a natural gathering point for employees.
Design selections reflect Tetra Pak’s international roots. Originally founded in Sweden, the company carries a strong European design influence. To align with that identity, acoustical panels, wall coverings, and furniture accent pieces were imported from multiple European countries. The integration of these materials required close coordination to ensure design intent was preserved while aligning with construction timelines and field conditions.
Frameless glass partitions with integrated frosting were installed at all perimeter offices, reinforcing transparency while maintaining privacy. Suspended acoustical baffles enhance sound control across the open office environment and add architectural texture overhead. Accent walls and acoustical wall panels were incorporated throughout to balance visual impact with performance. Custom showcase banquette millwork strengthens informal meeting areas and provides flexible seating that supports day-to-day interaction.
Earlier this month, ARCO/Murray gathered with Tetra Pak’s leadership team and Denton staff to walk the completed space and review the finished environment firsthand. The renovation positions the Denton office to better reflect Tetra Pak’s global brand while creating a functional, modern workplace for its team.
Phase II is scheduled to kick off next month on the second floor of the 200 building office wing. The next phase will expand upon the current design approach, reinforcing an open and efficient workplace supported by dedicated focus areas and enhanced public-facing collaboration spaces.
